Plot Summary: "Rocky" is a sports drama directed by John G. Avildsen and written by and starring Sylvester Stallone as the titular character, Rocky Balboa. One day, Rocky is given the chance of a lifetime when he is offered the opportunity to fight Apollo Creed, the reigning heavyweight boxing champion.
